Vivo Z1 Pro comes with 4GB + 64GB 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB in three storage options. This phone can also be called Indian variant of China's Vivo Z5x…

Today, China's smartphone maker Vivo has launched Vivo Z1 Pro in India. The specialty of this phone is the under-display camera mechanism given in the name of the Black Hole. This smartphone can also be called the Indian Variant of Vivo Z5x, which was launched in China last week. Both of these smartphones have a lot of symmetry. The Vivo Z1 Pro launched in India and the Vivo Z5x launched in China, the only difference between these two phones is the processor. The phone comes with three storage options 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. All the features and specifications are the same. In India, Vivo started teasing this phone a few weeks ago. Right now, after its entire official launch, all the news has been paused.

Punch-hole or Black-hole display

First of all, talk about this smartphone's unique display. I'm saying unique because this is the company first smartphone that has been launched in India with a punch-hole display that is company given the name of the Black Hole. These displays can be seen in many smartphones such as Honor View 20, Samsung Galaxy M40, Motorola One Vision, Honor 20, 20 Pro that has launched this year. This is the first time for Vivo when the company has made such an experiment in any of its smartphones.

The phone has a full HD+ display of 6.53 inches. The display's aspect ratio is 19.5:9 and the resolution is 1080X2340 pixels. The display-to-body ratio is also around 90 percent. The punch-hole in the phone's display is intelligently fitted upward in the left side. The hole is so small (4.5mm), there is no problem with watching the video. You can also stretch and fit-to-screen while watching the video.

After the phone's display, we now talk about its design. The design of the phone is similar to Vivo's mid-range Y-Series smartphone. There has not been much change in its design. The front panel has a punch hole instead of a notch, which gives you full-view experiences. At the top of the phone, a very fine line is given to the receiver and proximity sensor, which does not exactly take the space of the display. The bottom of the display is also given thin bezels.

On the left side of the phone, the dedicated smart button for Google Assistance has been given. After Nokia 4.2 and 3.2, this smartphone has also got this dedicated button. On the left side of the phone, the SIM tray has been placed on top of the smart button, where you can see a dual sim tray with a dedicated microSD card slot. In every smartphone of Vivo, you get to see this SIM tray. On the right side of the phone, you get volume rockers in the top while you get a power button below it. The dimension of the phone is 162.39x77.33x8.855mm.

Now talk about the most important feature of this smartphone, the phone has used Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset which works on 10nm fin-feet. This processor is considered to be better than Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and also considered to be great for multi-tasking and gaming. In addition, it is fitted with 10nm Adreno 616 GPU.

It is clear from this that the phone offers better graphics performance for gaming as well as multi-tasking. This processor improves graphics performance as well as battery performance and AI performance. Maybe that's why Vivo is promoting it with Fully Loaded tagline. Overall performance of the phone does not disappoint you. Its processor is much better than other devices in this range.

For photography, the phone has a 32-megapixel under-display front camera, which is equipped with AI Face Beauty Feature. Apart from this, Triple Camera setup is in the rear of the phone. The rear has a 16 MP F 1.78 aperture primary camera, 8 MP F 2.2 aperture wide-angle secondary camera and third 2 MP F 2.4 aperture depth-sensing camera.

The battery backup of the phone is tremendous. Once charged, it can be used comfortably for one and a half days. It also has the fast charging support of 18W in order to charge its battery. There is only one disadvantage in it that is this phone comes with micro USB 2.0 instead of USB Type-C. In today's date, all phones in this range come with USB Type C.

Price and availability

Let us know that the company has first launched Vivo Z1 Pro in India. The device will be available exclusively on Flipkart from July 11. The device costs 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants of Rs 14,990, 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants worth Rs 16,990 and 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variants are priced at Rs 17,990. After reviewing the overhaul of the phone, I thought it could be a better option for mid-range users. There is no Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform, but its performance is quite good. It can be given full marks for multitasking and gaming. The camera is also okay, if you are fond of photography then you can surprise your rear camera. The selfie camera is also awesome that you can use for day-to-day life and social media uploads.
