Vivo has launched a new device Vivo S1 today, expanding its product portfolio in India. With this smartphone, Vivo has also started its 'S series' in the Indian smartphone market. The Vivo S1 equipped with triple rear cameras and powerful specifications has been launched in the country at an initial price of Rs 17,990 which will be available for sale from August 8 on-line at shopping sites as well as offline retail stores. Let's look at this latest smartphone from Vivo.

Vivo S1 Design

On behalf of Vivo, this first smartphone of the S series has been introduced with the WaterDrop Notch Display. The display of the phone is bezel-less and there is no body part on all four sides. The phone display has a notch with a 'U' shape. Vivo S1 has been launched in the market by the company equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor, which unlocks the phone as soon as it touches the phone screen.

Similarly, the triple rear camera has been given on the back panel of Vivo S1, which is located in the vertical shape on the left side. In this camera setup, the flashlight is also provided along with three sensors. There is no physical sensor on the rear panel of Vivo S1 and Vivo logo is placed on the lower left side. While the volume rocker and power button are given on the right panel of the phone, the Google Assistant button is present on the left panel. Similarly, 3.5mm jack, USB port and speaker grill have been given on the bottom panel of the phone.



Vivo S1 Camera

Talking about photography segment, Vivo S1 supports the triple rear camera. A 16-megapixel primary sensor with F/1.78 aperture has been given on the back panel of the phone. Along with this, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with F/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel third sensor with F/2.4 aperture has been given. Similarly, Vivo S1 supports the 32-megapixel front camera with F/2.0 aperture for video calling and selfie.


Vivo S1 Specifications

Talking about the specifications of Vivo S1, this phone has been introduced at 19.5: 9 aspect ratio which supports 6.38-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution. As I have already told, Vivo S1 is equipped with In-Display fingerprint technology, while along with this phone also supports face unlock feature.



Vivo S1 has been launched by the company in two variants in the Indian market. One variant supports 128 GB of internal storage with 4 GB of RAM, while the other variant has 128 GB memory with 6 GB of RAM. On behalf of the company, this phone has been introduced on Android 9 Pie-based Funtouch OS. The Vivo S1 runs on a MediaTek Helio P65 chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz.

Vivo S1 is a dual sim phone that supports 4G VoLTE. The phone has basic connectivity features as well as a large battery of 4,500 mAh for power backup. In the Indian market, Vivo S1 has been launched in Sky Line Blue and Diamond Black Color.
