Step 1: Visit Aadhar Self Service Update Portal

First of all, you have to open the "Aadhar Self Service Update Portal" of Aadhar Card on your mobile or computer.

Step 2: Click on update your address online

If you have a valid address proof, click on "Update your address online". Here, in whatever way you want to change your address, you can click on "Proceed to update address" and "Request for address validation letter".

Step 3: Send TOTP or OTP

Now you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar card number and Captcha verification and click on "Send OTP" or "Enter TOTP".

Step 4: Login

Now an OTP will come on the mobile number linked to your Aadhar card. Which you have to enter in OTP option and click on "Login option" to login.

Step 5: Click On Address Option

A new window will open in front of you as you log in. Here you will find many options like updating Aadhar. To change the address, you have to click on the Address option.

Step 6: Submit Update Request

After the address window opens, now you have to update the address in the address option. After entering the address, click on "Submit Update Request".

Step 7: Click On Proceed

Now in the next window, you will be asked that if you want to change the address you have written, then click on "Modify" or if you want to keep the address you have written, then mark "Confirm" and click on the "Proceed" option.

Step 8: Upload Document

To update the address, you will now need to scan and upload a document, which will be "Driving License" or "Voter ID". After that, click on the below "Submit" button.

Step 9: Click on yes button

After clicking submit, a new window will open in the screen, in which you will see a popup window. You have to click on the "Yes" button and then select "BPO Service Provider Selection" which will verify your information and then click on "Submit".

Step 10: Aadhaar update request complete

In the next window, you will see “Update Request Complete” written. Which means that the request for your address update has been submitted. You can keep it by printing or downloading.

Needed Documents to change the address in Aadhaar card

How to Change Date of Birth in Aadhar Card?

Step 1: Go To Aadhar Center

If you want to change the Date of Birth Offline in the Aadhar card, then you have to go to the nearest "Aadhar Enrollment Center". There you will be given a form. You have to fill that form, from which you will be able to change the DOB in the Aadhaar card.

Step 2: Fill up the form

In the form that will be given to you at the Aadhaar centre, you will have to fill your name, Aadhaar number, address, mobile number etc. information, and then submit that form. When your number arrives, the executive sitting there will update your Aadhaar card's date of birth with the help of the Aadhar card website. This process takes a few days to complete.

Needed documents to update DOB in the Aadhar Card

How to register/update mobile number on Aadhaar card

Aadhar card contains your biometric information such as eye scan, fingerprint etc. Due to which it becomes easy to get information about any person. That is why it is necessary to make an Aadhaar card. However, there are often some flaws in the creation of the Aadhaar card, which is why we have to repair the Aadhaar card at the Aadhaar Card Correctional Center. So now I will tell you how you can easily register/update Aadhaar card mobile number.

  1. To get the mobile number updated in the Aadhaar card, first, you have to go to the Enrolment / Update Center.
  2. Here you will be given the Aadhaar update form by the executive, in which you will have to fill some information.
  3. Just enter your current mobile number in the form.
  4. You do not need to mention your previous mobile number.
  5. You will not have to provide any proof to update your mobile number.
  6. The executive will register your request.
  7. You will be given a URN slip after sending your request.
  8. To avail of this service, you have to pay a fee of Rs 25.
